Aria’s POV
I wanted time with him.
Not just random moments.
Not stolen seconds between everything else.
Real time.
Just me and Rafael.
But the problem was—
How?
I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling, my thoughts going in circles. Dad would never just let me go somewhere for a few days without asking a hundred questions.
Then suddenly—
It clicked.
I sat up instantly.
“Isla’s resort.”
A slow smile spread across my lips as I grabbed my phone and dialed her number.
She picked up almost immediately.
“Isla: Hellooo bbyyy~”
“Aria: You told me, right… that you have a resort?”
“Isla: Yahh.”
“Aria: I want to spend some quality time with Rafael.”
There was a pause.
“Isla: Ohooo… interesting. How many days?”
“Aria: Two?”
“Isla: Okay, done.”
I smiled.
Too easy.
“Aria: But—”
“Isla: What now?”
Aria: You’re coming with me.”
Silence.
Then—
“Isla: What the hell? WHY?”
I rolled my eyes. “Because I’m going to tell Dad I’m staying at your place. And you know him—he’ll want proof.”
She groaned. “Oh my God…”
I laughed softly.
“Isla: Fine. But at least ask your boyfriend first.”
I leaned back on my bed, completely sure.
“No need. He’ll accept.”
“Isla: You’re unbelievable.”
“Aria: I know.”
And with that—
I hung up.
I stared at my phone for a second, my heart beating a little faster.
This was actually happening.
Two days.
Just us.
A small smile formed on my lips.
Evening
The front door opened.
Dad was home.
I straightened immediately, walking into the living room like nothing was going on.
He looked tired, loosening his tie as he stepped inside.
“You’re home,” I said.
“Hmm,” he nodded. “How was your day?”
“Good,” I replied… then hesitated.
Okay.
This was it.
“Dad… I was thinking—”
He looked at me now.
“I want to stay at Isla’s place for a couple of days,” I said, trying to sound casual. “Just a small break.”
His eyes narrowed slightly.
“With Isla?”
“Yes.”
“How long?”
“Two days.”
He went quiet.
You’ll stay at her place the whole time?” he asked.
“Yes,” I nodded quickly.
His gaze stayed on me, like he was trying to read my mind.
My heart started racing.
Then finally—
Okay… go,” Dad said, his voice calm but firm. “But remember—don’t do something that forces me to step in.”
I nodded quickly. “Okay.”
He looked at me again. “How is your study going?”
“It’s good, Dad,” I replied, trying to sound normal.
He adjusted his sleeve slightly. “So… you still want to be a designer?”
My eyes lit up a little. “Yeah.”
“Okay,” he said with a small nod. “Then focus on that.”
And just like that
He walked away.
The moment he disappeared from sight, I didn’t wait.
I rushed upstairs, closed my door quietly—
—and then—
I started dancing.
Silently.
Jumping, spinning, trying not to make noise but failing anyway because I was that happy.
“Oh my God… oh my God…”
I grabbed my phone and immediately called Rafael.
He picked up almost instantly.
“Rafael: Hello, baby.”
I grinned. “Guess what?”
Rafael: What?”
Dad gave me permission to stay at Isla’s resort.” I said
There was a pause.
“Rafael: So?”
I rolled my eyes. “We’re going to spend two days there.”
Another pause.
Then—
“Rafael: We… meaning you and me?”
I smiled wider. “Yeah.”
“Rafael: Woooow.”
I laughed softly. “Hehehe.”
“Rafael: When?”
“Next Thursday.”
Rafael: Okay…”
There was a small shift in his tone, like he was thinking about something.
“Rafael: By the way… I told my elder brother about you.”
I froze for a second.
“You did?” I sat down on the bed. “What did he say?”
“Rafael: He was happy,” he replied. “He said when he comes back, he wants to meet you.”
My heart skipped.
“Really?” I said, suddenly sitting up straighter. “Then I have to be prepared—”
“No.”
I blinked. “What?”
“Rafael: Don’t.”
His voice softened.
Rafael: Just be you.”
Something about the way he said it—
calm, certain—
made my chest feel warm.
I smiled to myself.
“…Okay.”
But still—
I glanced at my reflection nearby.
A small nervous excitement building up inside me.
Meeting his brother…
Yeah.
This was getting real.
...I love you, Rafael.”
There was a small pause on the other side.
Then his voice came—soft, steady, like it always does when he means it.
“I love you aria till my last breath "
I smiled, my heart feeling full in a way I couldn’t explain.
“Good night,” I whispered. “See you tomorrow.”
“Good night, Aria.”
The call ended.
But the smile didn’t leave my face.
Rafael’s POV
I was waiting for her.
Leaning against the wall, hands in my pockets, eyes scanning the entrance without even realizing it.
Then—
“...So, you’re dating her.”
I didn’t need to turn around to know who it was.
Yuri.
I sighed quietly. “Can you mind your own business?”
He stepped closer.
“I loved her first,” he said.
I finally looked at him.
“And I’m the one she chose,” I replied, my voice calm but firm.
His eyes darkened slightly.
“You don’t know what I can do,” he said.
I took a step forward, not backing down.
“Then don’t,” I said coldly. “Stay away from her.”
For a second, silence stretched between us.
Then he laughed.
Not normal.
Not amused.
Something else.
“Just wait and watch, Rafael ,” he said slowly. “Time will say everything.”
My jaw tightened.
“Time is the one that will break you,” he added, before turning and walking away.
I watched him go.
Something wasn’t right.
Not even close.
He wasn’t just jealous.
He was—
unstable.
Then—
“Hey!”
I turned instantly.
Aria.
Relief hit me harder than expected.
“Aria—” I pulled her into a hug without thinking.
She froze for a second, then hugged me back.
“What happened?” she asked softly.
pulled back slightly, looking at her.
“Just… be careful around damien,” I said. “He’s not right.”
She gave a small, reassuring smile. “I know. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen.”
I wanted to believe that.
I really did.
“…Okay.”
We walked to class together, her beside me like always.
But this time
I couldn’t focus.
Not on the lesson.
Not on anything.
Because one thought kept repeating in my mind—
He’s going to do something.
And whatever it was…
It wouldn’t be small.
Class time
I was completely zoned out.
The teacher’s voice faded into nothing, the classroom noise turning distant.
Because all I could think about was him.
damien.
He’s going to do something.
That thought wouldn’t leave.
Not even for a second.
He’s not normal.
He’s not going to stop.
“hoiii”
A soft whisper pulled me back.
Aria.
I turned slightly.
“What happened?” she whispered, her brows knitting together in concern.
Nothing… I just—” I started, but the words didn’t come out right.
“hyyy both of you, get out of my class!”
The teacher’s voice cut through everything.
Aria straightened immediately. “Ma’am, I—”
“I said get out!”
Something in me snapped.
Not loudly.
Not visibly.
But enough.
I grabbed Aria’s hand and walked out without another word.
The hallway felt too bright. Too open.
Too exposed.
So I didn’t stop.
I kept walking until we reached an empty classroom.
I pushed the door open and stepped inside, pulling her with me.
The door shut behind us.
Silence.
“Wtf, raf—how can you just walk out like that?” she said, pulling her hand back slightly, confused.
“Shh,” I said quietly.
Not harsh.
Just… focused.
I stepped closer.
“Rafael…” she said, stepping back instinctively.
One step.
Then another—
Until her back touched the edge of a bench.
She stopped.
I stopped too.
There was still a little space between us.
“Hey,” she said, softer now.
Her eyes met mine, confusion slowly turning into concern.
And I kissed her she also kissed me back the kiss was normal first and it became rough I was sucking her upper lip she was sucking my lower lips I lifted her in branch
My hand slowly goes under her skirt and she moans between a kiss and
suddenly 🔔 🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔 bell
We come to the reality
"This bell!!-" I said in frustration
Wtf was that?” she whispered, quickly fixing her dress, clearly flustered.
I leaned against the desk, arms crossed, trying not to smile.
“You didn’t stop me either,” I said casually.
“Shut up,” she shot back, her cheeks already turning red.
And yeah—
Her lips were slightly flushed too.
I smirked.
“I’m not going to shut up,” I said, stepping a little closer but keeping it light this time. “Not when we finally got our two days planned.”
She looked away immediately. “Can we go now?”
I raised my hands slightly. “As you wish, madam.”
We walked out of the empty classroom together, trying to act normal—
keyword: trying.
The moment we stepped into the hallway—
“Oh my God—Aria, your lips!”
Isla’s voice.
Of course.
Aria froze. “What?”
Isla walked closer, eyes narrowing, then smirked.
“It looks like you just fought with your lip gloss or something.”
“Shut up,” Aria muttered, turning away.
But Isla wasn’t done.
Oh wow…” she said, leaning slightly toward me. “And why do I see her lipstick on your lip too?”
I immediately wiped the corner of my mouth.
Too late.
“Ishi— I mean, Isla—can you mind your own business?” I said, trying to stay calm.
She folded her arms, clearly enjoying this. “So let me get this straight… you two disappear after getting kicked out of class… and come back like this?”
Aria glared at her. “You’re being dramatic.”
“I’m being observant,” Isla corrected with a grin.
I sighed. “Can you not start?”
She leaned closer, lowering her voice like it was some big secret.
“You guys seriously chose college for doing this?”
“Shut up,” both of us said at the same time.
That just made her laugh.
“Relax,” she said, raising her hands. “I’m not telling anyone… but wow, you two are bold.”
Aria covered her face slightly. “I hate you.”
“No you don’t,” Isla teased. “I’m literally helping you go on your little secret trip.”
That made Aria pause.
“…Fine,” she muttered.
I glanced at her, a small smile forming again.
And yeah—
even with all the chaos, teasing, and embarrassment…
This?
This was still my favorite part.
